Using the XMA indicator- VP's Indicator Profile Series (Post 2024-03-25)

The XMA is a histogram indicator with 3 different color bars. However, yellow bars must be ignored as per Indicator Profile Series instructions. Therefore, the yellow bar is replaced by a bar with the color of the previous bar.

To configure the indicator in the NNFX Algo Tester in a way to ignores the yellow bars, we need to use the Intermediate. The version of the Intermediate below was adapted so that the yellow bars were replaced by a bar of the previous color and could therefore be used without problems.

Please note that you must use XMA-INTERMEDIATE indicator to obtain this type of operation but the Xma_Coloured_updated_for_nnfx indicator must also be installed on your MT4 as well.

To backtest the indicator you can use the following configuration:
